Apply to be a RAMP® Reviewer
Ï㽶ÊÓƵmembers who desire to give back to the profession using their knowledge of the Ï㽶ÊÓƵNational Model are encouraged to volunteer as a RAMP reviewer. RAMP reviewing is a form of professional development that involves peer reviewing with other professionals across the country who share the same interest. All RAMP reviewers, lead RAMP reviewers and RAMP team captains will successfully complete RAMP reviewing training annually and should be available for the entirety of their chosen scoring session. All scoring follows the Ï㽶ÊÓƵRAMP rubric for the designated year.
RAMP® Reviewers: This is the first level of involvement for all volunteers in reviewing and scoring RAMP applications. Reviewers actively engage as part of a team in reviewing and scoring school applications between November and January each year to determine RAMP eligibility.
Lead RAMP® Reviewers: Successful RAMP reviewers are invited to serve as lead RAMP reviewers. Lead RAMP reviewers facilitate scoring session discussions with members of the review team and work closely to ensure scoring consistency and scoring feedback is provided for schools who do not receive full points. Lead RAMP reviewers also provide annual feedback for maintaining and improving the integrity of the recognition program.
RAMP® Team Captains: Successful lead RAMP reviewers are invited to serve as RAMP team captains. RAMP team captains are responsible for guiding lead RAMP reviewers and RAMP reviewers by training and providing support throughout the scoring process. RAMP team captains also use feedback from lead RAMP reviewers to determine any necessary changes to the RAMP rubric and other aspects of the RAMP application process.
